Completing the WSU scholarship application puts you in the running for these major scholarships. We'll consider you for all the awards that fit your qualifications. And you could end up winning more than one.
University Achievement Award
For Washington high school students who meet certain GPA and SAT/ACT requirements: $2,000 and $4,000 annual awards available.
Cougar Commitment
Four years of full tuition and required fees for eligible students who have financial need.

Regents Scholars Program
Competitive merit scholarship for Washington high school students who meet certain GPA and SAT/ACT requirements. High school educators and Native American tribal councils nominate students for these awards.

Future Cougars of Color
Outstanding students (of any and all colors) are selected to compete for these scholarships at a unique on-campus event that blends scholarship activities with opportunities to explore WSU.

Access and Opportunity Award
For incoming freshmen from participating Washington high schools who have a minimum 3.5 GPA and demonstrate leadership skills, commitment to volunteer work, and community service.
Academic Achievement/Diversity Scholarship
Based on academic strength, demonstrated leadership skills, commitment to volunteer work and community service, and a high level of financial need (must complete FAFSA by Feb. 15 priority date).
National Merit Corporation Scholarship
For National Merit semi-finalists who list Washington State University as their first choice. Does not require a WSU scholarship application, but has other specific requirements.

Based on good grades and exceptional performance on standardized tests.

Paying your way at WSU
- Pay tuition deposit - If your admission application has been accepted, making an advance tuition deposit will reserve your space at WSU.
- Pay tuition and other fees - You can use a credit card to make payments on your tuition, housing, dining, and other accounts. Avoid penalties by making sure you know your tuition due date.
